While it's not difficult to see why I titled this piece "Dune", it is really a departure from my usual 'style'. I created the dune effect by using an acrylic modeling paste and carving out small pockets to hold the contrasting blues and greys. A few more thin layers of yellow completes the image. You gotta see this piece! Sorry, "Dune" is no longer available.
