I started this piece after a taking a little breather from my art. I wanted to take stock of what I was doing and where I was going. I started this using less texture than I normally do. I laid down a few under coats, then let instinct take over from there. By the time it was completed I noticed something rather odd. There was an unintended, but very obvious cross in the work. Now, I don't consider myself a religious person, but I do possess a certain spirituality. I don't believe this to be a vision of epic proportions, just a happy coincidence. Sorry, "Spirit" is no longer available.
